F33DBACK
A distributed caching feed reader built on Tor with the simplicity, usability and design of f33dme
Requirements
- the ability to fetch feed data from either the source or other peers
- feed data consists of
- the actual contents of the feed, stripped from trackers and other proxies (such as feedproxy)
- every resource necessary to display the content of the feed (images, maybe more?)
- the connection to the original feed source should go through Tor
- the connection to other peers should take place in form of Tor hidden services
- each user can configure the peers he/she can trust
- P2P requests take place in such manner that the destination of a failed request cannot be known (e.g. using a secure hash of the URL)
- directory servers (such as in Tor) could represent active/inactive nodes, which can be trusted
